Fuhua Talent Quest is an annual singing and talent competition
that aspires to offer students a platform to showcase their talents.
In 2009, we have 6 categories that include Vocal Single, Vocal Group, Dance Group, Video Making, CNY Card Making and Fuhua Got Talents (general).
Also, we will be giving out a Special Star Award to the contestant with the most "star appeal" or X-factor. There will be nominator prizes too for students who nominated the first prize winner for each category!

hi 2i6 we are having a chalet at downtown east from 20-22 dec...
there will be a bus fetching us from boon lay interchange to the destination and those who can't stay overnight there will also be a bus fetching us back to boon lay...

Congratulations to Tang Jue on being promoted to Sec 2 Express class next year. Challenges are inevitable in a new learning environment but given your positive learning attitude, you won't have a problem in coping. =) Perseverance and confidence are the key elements needed to achieve success. All the best and may you excel with flying colours.

For the rest, congratulations on being promoted to Sec 2 next year, hope the soon-to-be ex 1r6ians will preserve your fun personality in a positive manner. Sec 2 will be a crucial year as it will be a streaming year, you will still have the opportunity to be promoted to express stream at sec 3 or get into the through train class with good grades. Time is precious, once lost, it can never be recovered so be serious in your learning, make the best of your time!Also, never fail to care for your fellow mates and lend a helping hand whenever needed and lastly, respect your elderly and teachers!=) Let learning be fun and meaningful!

Also, just wanna ask you guys for your preference regarding drink selling in the Open House Bazaar, below are some of the options, please feedback on the one you prefer.
Packet drinks (Reasons: Hassle free, more varieties and hygienic. I would request all drink vending machines to be closed to ensure good business)
Self prepared lime juice (Reason: Cheaper)
Self prepared chestnut drink (Reason: Cheaper)

Please tell me your preferences soon else decision will be made by me. =)

Lastly, I have already asked the Home Econ teacher if she can lend us the deep frying machine but unfortunately, she doesn't have any so the plan of selling deep fried food is called off.

In any case, we will still need the following items, for those who have it, please kindly contribute:

Cooler box (to keep the packet drinks or ice)
Toaster (to toast the food)

If you do have any of these items, please contact me, chin fong, zul, farhan or phang weiyang. Phang Weiyang will be the overall logistic manager for this event, he will be in charge of managing the resources and their distribution.

I would like to commend and congratulate the 1R6's runners for the successful 2.4km run held today (25th October 2007), especially those who have won themselves the top 25 prizes such as sng weiyang and kenrick. Please pardon me if i never mention the rest as I have no clues who are the winners except the mentioned two.
